EGC, established as a Firm in 1987 and incorporated as Private Limited Company in 1994 is now among the largest private sector consulting companies in Pakistan. Due to hard work and dedication of its employees it has steadily grown since its incorporation in 1987.
EGC has successfully completed over 150 development projects in the public as well as private sectors. At present, the Company has a staff strength of about 300 employees including more than 150 highly qualified engineers, planners, geologists, economists, environmentalists and other professionals. EGC’s range of services includes preparation of feasibility studies, project planning, detailed design and design review, contract administration, construction supervision, project management and third party validation of various development projects.
Some major projects completed by EGC include design of 1100MW Kohala HHP, feasibility of 720MW Karot HPP, supervision of three high head HPPs, feasibilities of a number of other HPP projects, ranging from 100MW to 200MW, supervision of 340 km Lahore-Islamabad Motorway Project and many other projects in water development, hydropower, transportation, environment, urban and rural development, social and other sectors.
EGC is presently providing consultancy services for 720MW Karot HPP, Lawi HPP, 392KM Sukkur–Multan Motorway Project, Khanki Barrage Project, Trimmu-Panjnad Barrages Rehabilitation Project and a number of other highway projects.

Well familiar with construction market conditions & working environment in Pakistan. Spent 9 years in the management & supervision of multistory & other building projects in and around Lahore. Sound knowledge of FIDIC conditions of contract.
Over 25 years of rich and solid experience in financial management, accounting taxation and financial audit in corporate sector. Currently holds the potion of chief financial controller manages all SMEC International & EGC (pvt) Ltd. finance & accounting work of Pakistan operations. Also conducts financial analysis and monitoring of projects forecasting and preparation of reports.
Have more than 33 years experience of working on key positions for World Bank, Asian Development Bank, JICA and USAID funded projects. Have extensive experience of planning, design and specifications and construction supervision of water resources projects.
Presently, working as General Manager for water resource projects with SMEC International/ Engineering General Consultants. Duties include coordination and overall project management of the ongoing Projects. He is responsible for the technical and financial management of the ongoing water resources & barrage projects including coordination on New Khanki Barrage and Trimmu & Panjnad Barrages.
Having Master Degree in Engineering (Water Resources Engineering) with over 17 years of extensive experience of Environmental and Social Impacts Assessment studies, Resettlement Plans, Planning and Investigations, modeling of potential environmental parameters in the fields of Highways, Irrigation, Flood Protection, Drainage, Infrastructure Development and Multi Storied buildings. Worked on funded projects including WB, ADB, JICA, EU, SIDA and prepared bankable documents.
Having Master Degree in Human Resource Management with over 35 years diversified experience as HR Generalist of proven success in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organizational growth and enhance employee engagement; effective administrative skills focusing optimum use of organizational resources to reduce costs. The country-wise professional experience includes 5.5 years in Saudi Arabia, 13 years in UAE, 5+ years in Oman and 14 years in Pakistan. Worked on Road design software Inroads, Geopak and RoadCalc (Eaglepoint). Completed management courses. Worked on King Abdul Aziz Road Project as Design Manager (Infra) with KEO responsible for PM/CM.
